A glimpse into the Thursday Japanese class

At the request of four students who had passed the N1 and N2 JLPT proficiency exams,
the Thursday class spent six months reading "Convenience Store Woman (Konbini Ningen)" by Akutagawa Prize-winning author Sayaka Murata.
The students found the book fascinating, perhaps because they recognized—even if only slightly—aspects of their own personalities in the protagonist's unique character.
