19th Community Center Festival November 23, 2025

Following last year's participation, the Aoba International Lounge participated in the Community Center Festival.

Despite the unfortunate overcast weather, the venue was bustling with visitors and a lively atmosphere.

It was a great opportunity to learn about the activities of our Japanese Language Division and other divisions in the lounge.

As with last year, we held a Japanese mini-speech contest indoors, featuring five Japanese language learners from Vietnam, China, and India. After the presentations, a social gathering was held, where participants discussed language and culture, creating a relaxed and fulfilling atmosphere befitting international exchange.

In addition, an exhibition of the activities of each division was held in the entrance area.

The outdoor button badge corner was a big hit, attracting attention with letters and designs written in Sinhalese (Sri Lankan) and Mongolian (95 in total!).

As a new initiative, we performed in a skit on stage to promote the lounge.

This event, which can be enjoyed across borders and languages, helped to widely spread the

appeal of the lounge and brought smiles to the faces of attendees.
